The low-top sports mismatched uppers covered in unique materials . colors . and Deng's watercolor graphics . the individual details representing six regional dishes from six Chinese cities. They're joined by additional cuisine-inspired flourishes . including a wood-grain Swoosh that nods to chopsticks . a blue-tinged sockliner representing porcelain bowls . and a coppery toe box standing in for boiling chili oil. On each heel tab . 'food' is spelled out in embroidered Chinese calligraphy.
